LAHORE: The Lahore High Court will hear the plea of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz today over lifting her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
The LHC will hear the plea of Maryam Nawaz who earlier requested the court to direct the federal government about lifting her name from ECL.
Maryam in her petition requested the court to consider her plea as earlier the LHC directed the government to decide on the removal of her name from the ECL within seven days but it had not yet made any decision in this regard, due to which she is unable to travel abroad.

In this regard, a two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqir Najfi will conduct the case of her plea.
Earlier on 7th December, Maryam Nawaz approached the LHC to remove her name from ECL. Her counsel filed the petition which stated that she wished to travel abroad for six weeks to take care of her ailing father Nawaz Sharif who was undergoing treatment in London.
