KARACHI: Legendary literary figure Anwar Maqsood has contracted the coronavirus, which has affected up to 462,000 people across the country.
The news was confirmed by the playwriter’s son Bilal Maqsood that his father had undergone multiple tests after his condition had deteriorated. However, Bilal has assured that Anwar Masood is on the path of recovery and is now feeling better.

Anwar recently launched a show with a similar format as the famous series ‘Loose Talk’ which he wrote and starred in alongside the late legend Moin Akhtar. The new show, which is called ‘Mere Aangan Se’ is being aired under the auspices of Maqsood wherein actor Yasir Hussain will take on the role of guest.
