A landlord has brutally killed a female donkey by ripping open its stomach with a sickle as punishment for scavenging in his field.
The incident involved a landlord named Saqib, who tortured the donkey before killing it in 210 Jb Tarrar, located in the Chiniot district of Punjab province, under the jurisdiction of the Langrana police station.
This case follows a similar incident in Wazirabad, Punjab, where another landlord, Owais Gujjar, was reported for brutally torturing and cutting off a donkey’s ear as punishment for scavenging in his field. Gujjar also broke the donkey’s spine after torturing it.
Police officials have registered a case against Saqib for the recent incident. The local police were prompted to take action after a video of the injured donkey went viral on social media, showing the landlord torturing the animal.
