LAHORE: A woman who was sexually abused in Lahore Motorway gang-rape incident has refused to record a statement.
The police contacted the victim to record her statement but her family apologized for not recording the statement at this time. According to her family, she is not in a condition of recording a statement.
SSP Investigation Zeeshan Asghar said that they can understand the condition of the woman, they will record the statement of the victim when it is possible for them. It may be recalled that a woman was gang-raped on the motorway in the Gujjar Pura area of Lahore for three days.
The victim was returning to Gujranwala from Lahore in her car with her two children when two unidentified persons gang-raped her on the motorway, snatching gold jewelry and cash, and fled.
