KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday surged 178 points and closed on a positive note on the last trading day of the week.
The KSE-100 Index surged by 177.62 points or 0.44 percent to close the week at 40,832.99 points. Trading activity, however, remained low as daily volumes on the ready counter decreased to 180.706 million shares as compared to 260.143 million.
