KP Police arrest 2 suspects for stealing Nishan-e-Haider replica

SWABI: Local police arrested two suspects involved in stealing several items the tomb of Kargil war hero Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed.

Noman Sher, nephew of martyred Colonel Sher Khan, had filed a complaint in the Kalo Khan police station that on October 16, he went to home at night and when returned to the shrine the next morning found out that several items were missing from there.

After filing the report, DPO Swabi Muhammad Shoaib Khan gave SDPO Razar Ajab Khan and SHO Kalu Khan Abdul Wali came into action and immediately started tracing the culprits, as a result of which Ammad s/o Siyar, resident of Tarlandi, and Hamza son of Umar Ghani resident of Swat.

After thorough interrogation, the stolen replica of Nishan Haider, solar panel, batteries, UPS, pedestal fan and money obtained from the sale of stolen motorcycle were recovered.
