Hijab Khalil, the daughter of Pakistani playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, has come under fire from social media users following her father’s recent obscene video controversy.
Hijab, a TikTok personality and social media influencer, frequently shares acting and lip-sync videos on her Instagram account. Her posts have been inundated with negative comments and questions regarding her father’s recent actions.
The backlash against Hijab Khalil stems from an incident involving her father, where he became embroiled in a scandal after an obscene video was leaked. Qamar had recently been the victim of a honey-trapping scheme orchestrated by a criminal group, resulting in his release after paying a ransom.
The main suspect in the kidnapping case leaked the purported videos of Qamar after being arrested. In one clip, Khalil-ur-Rehman is seen smoking in a private room with a woman sitting nearby. The second clip shows him nude, engaging in inappropriate conduct with the woman.
Users have been sarcastically questioning Hijab about her father’s situation and advising her to look after him. Some have also criticized her for posting lip-sync videos amidst the controversy. In response, Hijab has restricted comments on her posts and appears to be ignoring the negative remarks.
