While most Pakistani strongly disagrees with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s controversial statement on women’s dressing, director Khalil-ur-Rehman has defended the remarks claiming what the premier said is right.
In a recent interview, PM Khan was asked if he thought what women wear has any effect on the temptation that leads to rapes, the prime minister replied, “If a woman is wearing very few clothes it will have an impact, it will have an impact on the men unless they are robots. I mean it is common sense.”
His recent speech left the majority of the country shocked and angry, however, Khalil-ur-Rehman is in agreement with him and feels at rest, ‘finally, someone said the right thing’.

During an interview, he said while saluting the prime minister said that he (PM Khan) must be a father and his inner fatherhood prompted him to say such things. He also said that people learn a lot from the dramas of society and actresses in the plays play an important role.
