Pakistani model Kashaf Ali has addressed the speculation regarding her alleged relationship with cricketer Saim Ayub.
The rumors emerged after the two were seen together in a viral video, where they appeared to be taking selfies and engaging in conversation.
In a video message shared on her Instagram stories, Kashaf expressed her thoughts on the matter.
“Our nation faces numerous significant issues that warrant discussion, yet both the media and the public seem to focus on trivial matters,” she remarked.
She noted that a simple video has been escalated into a major controversy, describing the situation as “absurd for me, but I feel powerless to change it, as this has become a common occurrence in our country and a habit among the people.”
The video featuring Kashaf Ali and Saim Ayub was filmed in West London, where they were seen together, leading to increased speculation about their relationship. In the footage, they were observed bowling, conversing cheerfully, and taking selfies, which piqued the interest of fans.
Saim Ayub, 22, is currently in London recuperating from an ankle injury that prevented him from participating in the ICC Champions Trophy.
However, Kashaf Ali has dismissed the rumors, clarifying that their meeting was purely coincidental and has been blown out of proportion.
