It is important to note that the hospital’s construction, which is situated in the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) neighborhood of Karachi, was officially begun in 2016.
The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust was created in honor of PM Imran Khan’s mother, Shaukat Khanum, who passed away from cancer in 1985. The trust has constructed a number of hospitals, research centers, and labs across Pakistan.
