In Karachi and various parts of Sindh, warm and humid weather is expected over the next 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Department.
As per the report from the Meteorological Department, Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 32°C and a minimum of 22°C on Sunday, with wind speeds reaching 18 kilometers per hour and humidity levels at 54%. Sunny weather in the coming days may cause a rise in temperature.
The Meteorological Department forecasts foggy mornings in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday, which may affect visibility, similar to conditions seen in some other cities. Cool winds from Balochistan are expected to reach Karachi, causing weather changes and bringing cooler nighttime temperatures.
In the coming days, Karachi’s daytime temperature is likely to stay between 33°C and 35°C, with nighttime temperatures around 21°C. Currently, the citizens of Karachi are experiencing a cool breeze at night while the weather remains hot during the day.
On the other hand, dry weather is anticipated across most regions, but areas like Gilgit-Baltistan, the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir may experience clouds in the evening or night, with light rain and snowfall over high mountains, as predicted by the Meteorological Department.
In some cities of Punjab, moderate to dense fog is expected at night, while other regions may continue to experience smog, which is causing health issues and distress among citizens as Pakistan experiences smog, partly attributed to cross-border pollution from India.
Last week, Karachi and other parts of Sindh experienced hot and dry conditions, with Karachi’s temperature reaching up to 38°C. In other cities, Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 42°C with 84% humidity, Thatta 40°C with 88% humidity, and Sukkur 39°C with 83% humidity. Despite the recent heat, Karachi residents can look forward to cooler nights by mid-November.
