An increase in heat intensity has been predicted for Karachi over the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the country’s largest city may rise up to 39 degrees Celsius, as reported by national media.
According to details, Karachi will experience rising temperatures over the next two days. On Friday, the temperature will increase, and on Saturday, it may range between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. Experts have advised residents to avoid going outside unnecessarily.
The Meteorological Department stated that during the day, the northwesterly winds in Karachi will be hot and dry, while in the evening, the restoration of sea breezes may reduce the intensity of the heat.
Meanwhile, a gradual increase in heat intensity has also been observed in Punjab. The Meteorological Department reported that due to the ongoing dry and hot weather in Lahore and across Punjab, the heat intensity has risen.
Weather experts noted that in various cities of Punjab, the heat has led to an increased use of fans and air conditioners in offices and homes. Currently, Lahore’s minimum temperature is 19 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is 34 degrees Celsius.
