Tremors of an earthquake are once again felt in Karachi, marking the 12th such incident in the past 48 hours. The quake struck around 10 AM, with the most affected areas located in the Malir district, as reported by national media on Tuesday.
According to details, the tremors were felt in various areas including Landhi, Korangi, Malir, and Quaidabad. At 9:57 AM this morning, tremors were once again felt in Karachi, the largest city in the country, causing widespread panic among residents.

Official data regarding the earthquake’s magnitude, epicenter, and depth is awaited. However, experts say Karachi has been experiencing a series of earthquakes over the past few days.
It is worth noting that more than 11 tremors have been recorded in the city over the past 48 hours. Most of these tremors are reported to have originated near the Landhi Fault Line close to Malir.
According to Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider, these are currently low-intensity tremors, but continued activity on the fault line could be concerning. He stated that further tremors may be felt in the coming days.
The Meteorological Department and Disaster Management Authority have advised citizens to exit buildings immediately during an earthquake, move to open fields or safe locations, and not to pay attention to rumors.
