The police have issued an advisory for the security of those individuals who taking out money from banks in Karachi.
According to the advisory issued by the South Police, those withdrawing money of five hundred thousand rupees or more will be required to take security.
The bank manager will call the relevant police station himself. Banks have also been instructed to make mobile bunkers. In addition, it has been made mandatory for bank security guards to wear bulletproof jackets.
The advisory further states that a trained security guard should be deployed in the bank, new 8-megapixel cameras should be installed on the internal and external routes, a close watch should be kept on unrelated persons, and the security guard should be deployed from a registered company. In addition, guards should be kept in banks during official holidays.
It should be noted that many people are robbed every month in the port city after withdrawing money from the bank, either on their way home or to other destinations.
