Famous Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has revealed that he landed himself in trouble for tagging Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter.

Kapil Sharma shared a clip of his upcoming comedy special ‘I’m Not Done Yet’ on Netflix on Instagram in which he told the story of his tweet to Indian premier Narendra Modi.

The Indian comedian said that he often tweets in a state of intoxication, which becomes news, According to Sharma, something similar happened in 2016.

He tweeted in which he tagged the Indian Prime Minister but he fled to Maldives immediately after the tweet, and stayed there for several 8-9 days, “I told the hotel management that I needed a room without internet so that they could run away from them all,” he said.

Kapil Sharma said that but it cost him millions which would not have been spent on his lifelong education. Kapil Sharma also complained to Twitter that they should introduce a feature in which users are told that the tweet was made in a drunk state so it should not be taken too seriously.

In 2016, Kapil Sharma tweeted that he pays more than Rs 150 million in taxes every year but still has to pay Rs 50,000 to the Mumbai Municipal Office to set up his office and mentioned Narendra Modi in his tweet.

On the work front, comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to make his Netflix debut with his standup comedy special. The show will premiere on Netflix on January 28. The show will mark Kapil’s first standup special on the platform.
