Maulana Fazlur Rehman launched an anti-government ‘Azadi March’ on 27th October from Karachi to Islamabad. The march later tuned into a two-week-long sit-in in the capital and was called off on 13th November after that the march blocked all the highways and main routes across the county.
The main motive of the ‘Azadi March’ was an immediate resignation of Imran Khan as the prime minister and demand of re-elections in the country.
