Journalist Nisar Lehri shot dead in Balochistan’s Mastung

Senior journalist Nisar Lehri was tragically shot dead in the GulKand area of Mastung, Balochistan, on Wednesday, local police said.

According to details, the police reported that Lehri, who served as the secretary of the local Press Club, was killed due to a land dispute.

Faiz Durani, President of the Press Club, has demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible, while SP Mastung assured that raids are underway to apprehend the culprits involved in Lehri’s murder.

This incident follows the killing of another journalist last month in Ghotki, Sindh. Bachal Ghuniyo, a journalist with Awaz TV, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Rawanti, Ghotki. The attackers managed to flee the scene after the crime.
