KARACHI: Jafaria Disaster Management Cell (JDC) will launch a three-day clean-up drive across Karachi on 14th August.
In this regard, all preparations have been completed. JDC General Secretary Zafar Abbas will inaugurate the three-day clean-up tomorrow.
Zafar Abbas said that Karachi has been suffering from filth for the last several years and no proper sanitation is being arranged.
He said that keeping in view this situation, the JDC Foundation, like three years ago, once again ha launched the Clean Karachi Campaign, a three-day clean-up drive.
A spokesman for the JDC Foundation said that a large number of volunteers from across the city would take part in the clean-up operation. To make this campaign a success, volunteers will be provided with dumpers, shovels, cranes, trolleys, shovels, and other equipment, the spokesman added.
