RAWALPINDI: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday said that he’s not afraid of prison for he’s willing to sacrifice his life for the people of Pakistan.
Khan said he would continue his flight against the corrupt mafia, adding he is being booked in new FIRs on daily basis for not bowing down.
“I’m willing to sacrifice my life for Pakistanis, then why would I be afraid of going to jail?” Imran Khan said while addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi.
The corrupt mafia, according to the PTI chairman, has once again been allowed “freehand” after looting the nation’s wealth for the previous 30 years. Legislation is being passed to offer relief in corruption charges since returning to power.
Khan urged the populace once more to prepare for the long march. The PTI chairman continued, “I will shortly make the call and lead from the front.”
Imran Khan claimed that you need to be a “criminal” to obtain higher positions in the nation, making reference to the recently appointed Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori.
Khan criticized the acquittal of PM Shehbaz Sharif, his son, in the money laundering case, claiming that “under the country’s inadequate judicial system, no one can responsible big thieves now.”
