RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed has said that the issue of an appointment has jammed (paralyzed) the entire political system of the country.
Taking to Twitter, he said the wishes of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari (regarding the said appointment) would see the dustbin and any decision would be taken purely on the basis of merit.

Sheikh Rasheed said deals are made for every entry and exit in the country, an apparent reference to the recent departure of Maryam Nawaz and media reports suggesting the return of Nawaz Sharif to the country.
He asked if the Prime Minister’s office wasn’t secure, how could D Chowk remain safe and secure. Sheikh Rasheed said Nawaz Sharif was waiting for a deal, while Shehbaz Sharif was enjoying ‘relaxation.’
