ABU DHABI: The Israeli flag has been hoisted for the first time at the Presidential Palace in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the details, the friendship between UAE and Israel came to the fore. For the first time in more than 70 years, the flag of the illegally occupied state of Israel was hoisted at the UAE presidential palace.

Recently, Israel’s ambassador to the UAE, Amir Hayek, was invited to the presidential palace. The guards at the presidential palace presented a guard of honour to the ambassador of the Jewish state. The Israeli national anthem was also played on the occasion.
It should be noted that Israeli-Arab diplomacy is not a new thing. Earlier, according to Israeli media claims, air service was started between Saudi Arabia and Israel. The Hebrew newspaper reported last month that a flight from Ben Gurion Airport in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, had departed for the Saudi city of Riyadh.
The Emirati company Royal Jet arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, carrying passengers from Tel Aviv. The newspaper did not elaborate further on the news.
