Islamabad’s F-8 underpass is set to open to traffic on December 24, just 42 days after its completion.
The announcement was made by Mohsin Naqvi during a visit to key infrastructure projects, including the F-8 Exchange Chowk interchange and the Serena Chowk interchange.
He inspected ongoing construction and progress at these sites, which aim to ease traffic congestion in the city.
The Interior Minister also revealed that the Serena Chowk Interchange, constructed with remarkable speed and efficiency, will be inaugurated next month after being completed in just 60 days.
These timely infrastructure upgrades are expected to significantly improve traffic flow and provide relief to commuters across Islamabad.
Last week, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa announced that the Jinnah Avenue F-8 Interchange underpass would open to traffic on December 25. During his site visit, he conducted a thorough review of the project’s progress and inspected the construction. Consultants, designers, and other key stakeholders were present during the inspection.
