A woman staged a robbery at a house in the Khanna area of Islamabad on Monday, as reported by the national media according to the police of federal capital.
As per reports, the woman carried out the robbery alone with no companions with her. She looted a citizen’s home namely Tariq Mehmood, approximately 2 kilometers far from the local police station.
The house owner Tariq Mehmood and his family except his daughter were away, while the robbery took place in the H-8 Sector of Islamabad. The police stated that the woman looted the house while daughter of Tariq Mehmood was under gun point.
Criminal lady stole the gold jewelry with a set of 2.5 tolas, a gold chain weighing one tola, six rings of one tola each, two earrings Rs. 1,70,000 as cash. She went away with all the stolen jewelry and cash as reported by the police.
After the robbery, the daughter sought help from a neighbor’s house and informed her father about the incident. Based on her account, the police stated that the armed woman was dressed in a black gown and spoke in Urdu.
