Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has dismissed circulating misinformation, stating clearly that Pakistan has not made any statement about launching a nuclear strike on Israel.
While addressing the Senate, he warned that fake and misleading news is being spread through Indian propaganda accounts on social media. He pointed out that an old video clip from 2011 of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu related to Pakistan is being falsely presented as recent. He also mentioned a fabricated clip involving former U.S. President Donald Trump, and a fake video of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, both of which were widely circulated.
Ishaq Dar assured that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully alert and that Israel should not even consider acting aggressively towards Pakistan. He emphasized that after the Israeli strike on Iran, Pakistan adopted a clear stance and he had a direct conversation with the Iranian Foreign Minister to express Pakistan’s position.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s nuclear program is solely for national defense, regional stability, and peaceful purposes. He added that Pakistan believes in resolving disputes through dialogue, not threats, and has never made any statement about a nuclear strike on Israel.
Earlier, Israeli military strikes have intensified across Iran, with fresh attacks on Monday reportedly damaging critical civilian infrastructure, including a hospital in Kermanshah and a fire station in Ilam province, amid escalating hostilities between the two countries.
According to Iranian state and semi-official media, the latest round of Israeli aggression targeted a facility near Farabi Hospital in the western city of Kermanshah, causing extensive damage to the hospital building.
Video footage released by Fars News Agency showed shattered windows, collapsed ceilings, and widespread destruction in patient rooms. Reports indicate that medical services were severely disrupted as a result of the strike.
