Why did Defne leave Semih?
One night after the breakup, Defne and Semih meet and the next morning she reminded him that they had met which he forgot under the influence of alcohol.
What bothered Defne was how Semih had only talked about himself the previous night. He asked her what his mistake was and whether he was right or wrong, but he never asked how she was doing or what she wanted from the relationship.
This was precisely why Defne left Semih as her needs and opinions were not valued in their relationship. Even after breaking up, he did not care to ask her how she was holding up. She believed it was his arrogance that caused a distance between them.

SKIP IT! It’s a good movie over all with a powerful performance by Deniz but if you’re on one of those days when you don’t feel yourself at all if you’re dealing with emotional struggle then you should probably skip the movie and watch something comedy.
