Superstar actress Mahira Khan starrer ‘Prince Charming’ is a much talked about short film as it not only stars Khan along with Zahid Ahmed but also the movie is the directional debut of actor Sheheryar Munawar.
Prince Charming is a 12-minute telefilm that will premiere on the SeePrime YouTube channel today. However, there are reports claimed by a page ‘Instant Lollywood’ that the music of the short film featuring Mahira Khan is plagiarised, whether the background has been inspired or copied, but it has definitely the exact same chorus of an old song called ‘In The Mood For Love’ by Shigeru Umebayashi.
According to the recently released trailer, Mahira Khan will play the role of a girl named Sheherzad in the short film and Zahid Ahmed will be playing the character of Akbar. Here is the link to the original song from which the short movie has plagiarised.
Many social media users were not happy with the idea of copying the music o the short film from another old song. One of the users wrote, ‘Dear Pakistani directors…writers…producers In case if you don’t have more content to show then Please come out of your sass bahu and typical love stories or coping Hollywood and Bollywood and search what is happening in life try making something realistic.’

Another one sarcastically commented: ‘There is no such thing as inspiration….charba charba he hota ha.’ As Prince Charming marks the beginning of the directing of Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui, people hold high hopes for the well-known Pakistani actor turned filmmaker.
