Amid the high-profile sexual assault case that led to the arrest of renowned choreographer Jani Master, rumors surfaced involving Allu Arjun, the star of the blockbuster film “Pushpa”.
The case, which began when a 21-year-old woman accused Jani Master of years of sexual abuse while they worked together, has sent shockwaves through the Telugu film industry.
Speculation arose that Allu Arjun could be implicated due to his association with the choreographer, but “Pushpa” producer Ravi Shankar was quick to dismiss these claims. Speaking at a recent film success event, Ravi Shankar clarified, “Allu Arjun only greets people on set with a ‘good morning’ and follows his work. He has been unnecessarily dragged into this.”
Shankar further defended Arjun, questioning the motives of those connecting him to the case. “At his level, why would he interfere in someone’s hiring or promotion? Our relationship with both individuals is strictly professional,” the producer added.
Regarding claims that Arjun and director Sukumar would side with the victim, Shankar emphasized, “What transpired between the girl and Jani Master is a personal matter. She was hired long ago as an additional choreographer for Pushpa, and her role remains intact. Jani Master was slated to choreograph a special number for Pushpa 2, but this incident occurred just two days before filming.”
