SAN FRANCISCO: The social networking app Instagram has announced to test hiding ‘likes’ feature at the image and photo-sharing social network in different countries.
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said, “Heads up! We have been testing making likes private on Instagram in a number of countries this year,” Mosseri said in a tweet.

He added, “We are expanding those tests to include a small portion of people in the US next week.”
In September, Instagram’s co-founder Facebook confirmed that it was dabbling with no longer making a public display of how many “likes” are racked up by posts.
