NEW DELHI: A six-month-old infant slipped from her grandfather’s arms and fell into an overflowing drain under the railway tracks in India.
The sad incident happened in Maharashtra’s Kalyan railway station, when the infant’s mother and grandfather were walking on the tracks.
The mother, Yogita Shankar Rumale, was walking with the infant in her arms on the railway tracks in Kalyan’s Patri Bridge when she slipped and got stuck. The grandfather tried to help and picked up the infant but the child slipped from his arms amid the heavy rain and fell into the drain under them.
