The Detective Comics (DC) in its new animated film ‘Injustice’ has faced a serious backlash from Indian social media users and they have termed it as ‘Anti India Superman”.
After a clip from the movie ‘Injustice’ widely circulated over social media, several Indian’s took over their social media accounts to show their anger against the movie makers as they have called Kashmir a disputed territory in its clip.
Moreover, in the viral clip the comic characters Superman and Wonder Woman can be seen destroying all the equipment’s in the region and declaring it an arms-free zone ending there a genocidal war. As it is not clearly mentioned in the clip in which country the characters are present in but it can be clearly heard Kashmir as a disputed territory and Superman disparaging the army present in that territory.

Meanwhile, as soon as the video went viral netizens took over their social media accounts to show their disgrace. One user wrote, “DC fans in India, show some patriotism and cancel [Injustice]. This is hideous. Propaganda anti-India narratives should be busted#AntiIndiaSuperman”. While another wrote, “It’s time to ban DC films in India”. Furthermore, several others took a part in condemning the act of DC as propaganda against India, Have a look.

However, a private channel’s news editor in India has called out Detective Comics (DC) creators to amend the movie clip immediately and present an apology.
