Indian TV actor Kushal Punjabi commits suicide

MUMBAI: In a surprising turn of events that has left many of his family and friends stunned, Indian TV actor Kushal Punjabi on Friday was found dead at his residence in Mumbai.

According to the Indian media, Kushal Punjabi was found hanging at his residence in Mumbai. Police have confirmed the news and found a suicide note at his residence.

In his suicide note, Kushal stated that his property be divided among his son, sisters and parents. Police said that an accidental death report has been filed and further investigation is underway to find the reason for suicide.

As per media reports, Kushal’s body has been shifted to the hospital and his rites expected to take place on 27 December.

Kushal Punjabi worked in many films and had a brief career in Bollywood. He worked in Farhan Akhtar’s “Lakshya” and Karan Johar’s “Kaali”. Furthermore, he was a trained dancer and worked as a choreographer in Indian films.
