LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has lashed out at the federal government for increasing prices of petroleum products.

His criticism came within hours after Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appeared on national mainstream media on Sunday morning to announce immediate hike in prices of petrol and diesel by Rs. 35 per liter, and prices of oil and light diesel by Rs.18 per liter.

Taking to Twitter and lashing out at the government, Imran Khan said “total mismanagement of our economy by a corrupt and incompetent imported government has crushed masses and salaries class with latest hike in petrol and diesel prices and devaluation of Rs.33 against the US dollar, hike in electricity and gas prices and 35 percent unprecedented inflation expected with Rs200 billion mini budget.
