ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has reacted on the statement, given by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah the other day, in which he had said that country’s political situation has reached the point where the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) could go to any extent to protect its existence from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

In an interview to PNN, the interior minister had said “the country’s politics has been brought to the level where the existence of only one of the two [PTI and PML-N] is possible.”

Imran Khan who is in Islamabad High Court to get protective bails in multiple cases, when asked to comment on Rana Sanaullah’s statement, said “I want we both exist, but if he is saying so, I can tell that they (opponents) will not exist.”
When asked why Nawaz Sharif hadn’t returned to Pakistan despite the fact that his own brother was the ruler here, Khan responded “Nawaz is waiting for my elimination or disqualification.”
He said there was no rule of law in the nation and that everyone knew who was in charge. In response to a different query, Khan stated that “if Namaloom removed their support, the government cannot live a day.”

When asked about possibilities of talks with the government, the PTI Chairman said “for politicians, doors for negotiations always remain open, conversations are possible but only on one single topic, that is elections.”
When asked if he was satisfied with the security, Khan responded that there was none other than the one he had set up on his own.
