LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan left his Zaman Park residence in Lahore on Tuesday to appear in courts in Islamabad to comply with various summons. This is his first visit to the federal capital since November 3 assassination attempt in Wazirabad, in which one person had lost his life while Khan and 12 others were injured.

Earlier, there were reports that the PTI chief would depart for Islamabad on a domestic flight, but later the plan was changed and Khan left Lahore for the federal capital via Motorway.

Party sources said he would be extended warm and rousing welcome by PTI leaders and workers on reaching Islamabad Motorway Interchange from where he will be taken to Judicial Complex in a rally.

As per information gathered by MM news, Imran Khan is scheduled to appear in various courts in Islamabad today. The PTI chairman will appear before the banking court in the prohibited funding case.
PTI chairman Imran Khan is also scheduled to appear before Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad in a case regarding protest outside the ECP office. He will also appear in the Sessions Court in two different cases.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter, saying that there would be grave security threats to Imran Khan and thousands of his supporters as he would appear in courts today. He said Khan was forced to appear from one court to another in ‘fake cases’, adding that his appearance was possible via video link but “the purpose was to play with the life of Khan.”
