ISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman has said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan is chanting slogans of independence by trapping the country in debt while he has borrowed the most.
According to details, in her recent statement, Sherry Rehman said that the details of loans issued by the SBP have the status of a charge sheet against the PTI government.

In a statement, the minister said that in the last 70 years, the total debt of Pakistan was Rs 29,000 billion. The minister said that Imran Khan became the prime minister and borrowed more than Rs 23,000 billion. “He used to say that if he will not take a loan, he will commit suicide. Imran Khan plunged the country into a quagmire of foreign debt,” said Rehman.
Earlier, Sherry Rehman had said that Pakistan was facing the threat of drought due to water scarcity while climate change had become a national threat to Pakistan. Talking to News Agency (APP), the Minister for Climate Change said that Pakistan is facing the effects of climate change.
