ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday granted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) another month for the recording of British witness statements in the Imran Farooq murder case.
Witness testimonies in the assassination of senior Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader in London had yet to be registered. The FIA lawyer pleaded with the court for another month to collect testimonies from international witnesses.

The presiding judge, while adhering to the request, told the lawyer of the investigation agency that the court would not extend further time for statements, Three accused in the case were produced from Adiala Jail for the hearing today in court.
Earlier in a letter to British authorities, the FIA prosecution team had requested permission to testify to the suspects in the murder case of MQM leader Imran Farooq in London.
