ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has sought the security rolls given to former prime ministers in the case related to providing security to Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
According to the details, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq heard the request regarding the security provision for Imran Khan after the threatening statement of the Interior Minister. Imran Khan’s lawyer Salman Safdar and the Additional Attorney General appeared.
The court also summoned the representatives of the Ministry of Interior. The Chief Justice instructed the authorities how much security has been given to Imran Khan.
The Chief Justice inquired whether security has been provided to Imran Khan. Attorney General said that Section 17 is applied for security. Imran Khan was given a bulletproof vehicle, but after the 18th constitutional amendment, security has become a matter for the province.

The Ministry of Interior said that security is provided, but the notification could not be issued. The federal government has to look after the security of Islamabad. As far as Punjab is concerned, the matter is entrusted to IG Punjab. Imran Khan was given foolproof security in Islamabad.
The court declared that former prime minister Imran Khan should get security according to status. Whatever is written in the law, security should be given, leave Lahore, tell Islamabad. Submit the rules and regulations to the court. Later security rolls were called for.
