The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University to stop the release of MDCAT results until further notice.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued a three-page written ruling, stating the results must not be announced.
The court was informed by 4:30pm today that the results had not been published. The additional attorney general has been directed to notify the university about the stay order.
Notices have been issued to relevant parties, including the Ministry of Health, for a hearing on September 26.
It may be noted that MDCAT test were held across Pakistan on Sunday and a number of complaints of mismanagement were also reported.
