ISLAMABAD: Justice Lubna Saleem Pervez becomes the first woman in the history of Islamabad High Court to take oath as the Additional Judge of IHC today.
Earlier, the Ministry of Law issued a notification that Lubna Saleem Pervez, Fayyaz Ahmad Jadran, and Ghulam Azam Qambrani would take oath from Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Athar Manullah.
After the appointment of three new additional judges, the number of judges in the Islamabad High Court has now increased to seven.
Justice Lubna Saleem Pervez belongs to Sindh, Justice Fayyaz Jadran is from Islamabad and Justice Ghulam Azam Qambrani is from Balochistan.
Born in 1965, Pervez is an expert on tax laws as she has been practicing tax affairs for a long time. She also has a good name in civil law. She did her Matriculation and then the BA LLB from Karachi.
