ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has extended the hearing of the Presidential Ordinance case till 12th March.
IHC Chief Justice Athar Manullah conducted the hearing of the petition filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-N. The PML-N in its petition stated that its party was against the passing of the 8th Presidential Ordinance in Islamabad.
During the hearing, a member of the National Assembly of the PML-N, Barrister Mohsin Ranjha arrived in the court with his lawyer team to represent the petition, while the federal attorney was represented by Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar.
Chief Justice Athar Manullah remarked that Raza Rabbani, Makhdoom Ali Khan, and other judicial assistants were seeking a response again. Only Dr. Babar has submitted his response.
Later, issuing notices to the parties seeking a response from the parties, the court adjourned the hearing against the presidential ordinance.
