Actress Nadia Jamil Khan has opened up about her horrific childhood traumatic experiences of being harassed by a domestic worker and shared the reason why she is speaking up now.
Recently in an interview, Nadia Jamil talked about her horrific childhood traumatic experience and said, “I was being harassed or abused by the house help at my own house. I reported the incident to the family but no one paid the head to it.”
She said that she also became quiet and did not react to it because no one took it seriously. “I thought it was not a big deal but it was after the Kasur incident when I decided to speak up for the awareness of those kids who become victims,” she added.
She added that he wanted to tell the children to speak up and never stop living their lives. “I took the matter to social media and I was surprised to see how common was, I got a great response,” she further added.
According to her, in Pakistan, it is quite a normal practice. “If such a practice is common in a society, then one must learn that the society has a lot of rising psychological issues which need to be addressed,” she said.

Jamil also asserted that awareness campaigns should be run and children must be taught about the sense of good touch and bad touch. She also urged parents to stay with their kids all the time and don’t leave them alone.
