RAWALPINDI: Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that she was also a cricketer.
Talking to the media at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that she knew the importance of sports.
Awan also appreciated the Bangladesh Cricket Board and its government for sending their team to the country.
She said that the government was obliged to utilizing the potential and talent of their youth in different sports.
Awan said that restructuring has been done in cricket and improvements would also be brought in other games such as hockey, football, and boxing.
She earlier today while appreciating Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the world was accepting Pakistan as a peace-loving country.
Awan said that it was because of the prime minister that he promoted a positive image of the country in the world.
Awan said, “We are glad that several countries are now softening their travel advisories for Pakistan.”
Awan while highlighting the international cricket teams coming to the country said that more countries would send their teams to Pakistan in the near future.
