ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has said that human kindness was how a government should connect with its people.
Dr. Shireen Mazari posted a tweet in which she embedded a video that was about a shelter home initiated by the government in which it had provided a place to sleep to around 150 people. The shelter home in Punjab facilitated the homeless with food, first aid and twice to eat.
In this regard, Mazari tweeted, “Human kindness and empathy is how a government should connect with its people, especially the poor and marginalised.”

Last month, Mazari opposed the act of honour killing in the society by saying that there was no such thing as honour killing it was just murder.
Mazari added, “There is no such thing as “honour” killing. It is murder plain and simple and punishable as such by the state according to our laws.”
