‘Azaad’, the Debut film of Rasha Thadani attracted the attention of the film industry soon after its release in theaters and the movie has become the talk of the town in Bollywood. Rasha Thadani is the daughter of Raveena Tandon, and Aaman Devgn – the nephew of Ajay Devgn.
The film, directed by Abhishek Kapoor has fresh faces and its theme is based on rebellion and courage.
On its 9th day, Azaad saw a slight improvement in its earnings. The movie collected INR1.4 million, which is a 27 percent increase compared to its 8th-day collection of INR1.1 million.
OTT Release Date:
According to media reports, Netflix has acquired the OTT streaming rights for ‘Azaad’, however, Netflix has not announced the OTT release date so far.
Given the ongoing trend of Bollywood movies’ digital streaming, Azaad is likely to stream online after two months of its release in theatres. In this context, it is expected that the film will be released on OTT in mid-March this year.

Ajay Devgn as Vikram Singh, a dacoit (rebel) against British rule.
Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, plays Janaki, the upper-class girl in a love story with Aaman Devgan’s character.
Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s nephew, portrays Govind, a stable boy fascinated by Vikram Singh’s horse.
Diana Penty as Kesar, who is involved in a subplot with Vikram Singh.
Mohit Malik plays Tej Bahadur, Janaki’s brother.
Piyush Mishra as Rai Bahadur, Janaki’s father.
