KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted the weather of the Sindh capital will remain hot until tomorrow with no expected rain.
The temperature of the city reached 32 degrees Celsius early in the morning. According to the Meteorological Department, hot and dry winds will prevail in Karachi throughout the day. Today’s maximum temperature is expected to be 40 degrees Celsius. The felt temperature can go up to 42 degrees Celsius. Humidity in the air is 61 percent.
Meteorological Department Director Sardar Sarfraz said that the weather in Karachi will remain hot till tomorrow. Talking to the media, Sardar Sarfraz, Director, Meteorological Department, said that there are two monsoon systems in India and Pakistan.

He said that there is a depression in Central India, this depression is directed towards Upper Sindh and South Punjab. The second low pressure is affecting Gujarat, Rajasthan and southeastern Sindh, the director of the Meteorological Department said.
He said that it was also raining in the Thar Parkar district due to low pressure. The Director Meteorological Department said that Karachi has very hot weather due to low air pressure in Indian Gujarat.
According to Sardar Sarfraz, under these two systems, there is no possibility of rain in Karachi at present. The weather in Karachi will remain hot till tomorrow.
He added that sea breezes are suspended in the city, warm winds are blowing from the northeast, however, the sea breezes are likely to resume after (tomorrow) September 16 in the Arabian Sea.
