An online startup Bagallery helps people in shopping for beauty and fashion products online. The same startup raised $4.5 million in Series A funding. Since then its cofounder Mina Salman has been trending on social media for achieving a milestone.
Mina Salam while talking about Bagallery’s achievement, said, “Pakistan is a country of 220 million people, and everyone wants to look beautiful our purpose is to offer affordable fashion and beauty products to each and every segment of our population.”
She added, “Globally fashion and beauty are the biggest categories for E-commerce, so we are playing in the right segment which has already seen many unicorns globally especially in last 3 years.” She further added, “We are planning for mega expansion after this funding both through acquiring some fashion brands and expanding to other locations.”
She co-founded the start-up in 2017, with a 40 percent female workforce. The startup firmly believes in empowering women and giving them the charge, particularly in an industry where approximately 80 percent of customers are female.
Since raising its Seed round in 2020, Bagallery has shown tremendous growth over the last year, with a threefold increase in revenue and more than 20,000+ products and 2000+ brands added to their online store.
