Katy Perry has showed that she has a great a sense of humor as the “Firework” singer reacted jokingly about going viral for an awkward royal moment.
In a May 6 video circulating on social media, the “Firework” singer is seen searching for her seat at King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation. As the singer made her way past several people sitting in the pews of Westminster Abbey in London, she appeared temporarily lost, with her vision seemingly partially obscured by her massive lilac fascinator.

The singer is seen in a social media video from the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on May 6 looking for her seat. The singer walked by numerous individuals who were seated in the pews of Westminster Abbey in London, appearing momentarily disoriented and having her vision appear to be partially obstructed by her enormous lilac fascinator.
She finally managed to find her place to watch the King’s coronation, but social media users brought attention to the 38-year-old’s strange moment.
Hours after the ceremony, the singer, who wore a custom lilac Vivienne Westwood skirt suit to the historic event, tweeted, “Don’t worry guys i found my seat.”
The video sparked several memes. One person reshared the video on Twitter, writing, “Me trying to find my mom at a full supermarket.” Another user tweeted, “Me arriving late to yoga class and trying to find a spot.”

Prior to this Saturday, it was revealed that Perry will be staying at Windsor Castle for the night before performing alongside music legend Lionel Richie on Sunday. They will also be joined by Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Welsh bass baritone Sir Bryn Terfel.
Reacting to the invitation, she said “I’m very excited…. I might be posting a lot because I’m going to be in a castle, really.”
“This is crazy. The invitation was very majestic. It was like cursive handwriting that I’ve never seen before…. I loved it.”
