Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has finalized the candidates willing to contest elections on MNA seats from Islamabad and Lahore.
The PTI has declared its support for Ali Ijaz Buttar in NA-117, Aliya Hamza in NA-118, and Shahzad Farooq in NA-119. Usman Hamza will be backed by the party in NA-120, while Waseem Qadir will receive support in NA-121.
PTI-endorsed candidates for other constituencies include Barrister Latif Khosa in NA-122, Afzal Karim in NA-123, Zameer Jhedo Advocate in NA-124, and Rana Javed Umar in NA-125.
Furthermore, the PTI’s candidates from Lahore encompass Malik Tauqeer Khokhar in NA-126, Zaheer Khokhar in NA-127, Salman Akram Raja in NA-128, Mian Muhammad Azhar in NA-129, and Dr. Yasmeen Rashid in NA-130.
Meanwhile, there are three seats of the National Assembly from Islamabad.
Aamir Masood Mughal will contest from NA-46 on the PTI ticket (ICT-I). Shoaib Shaheen will contest from NA-47 (ICT-II) and Ali Bukhari will contest polls from NA-48 (ICT-III).
It is to be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates will contest polls as independents after the SC rejected its plea of restoring “bat” symbol.
