June is just around the corner and so are several movies on Netflix.
Let’s have a look at the series and movies that will stream on Netflix:
1) Extraction 2
Directed by Sam Hargrave, the movie will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 16, 2023. It is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo via their AGBO banner, from a script by Avengers: Endgame filmmaker Joe Russo, who also penned the first installment of the film.
Released in 2020 on Netflix, part one titled ‘Extraction’ was a big hit featuring Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) traveling to Bangladesh to rescue the kidnapped son of a drug lord. At the end of the film, Tyler Rake took a bullet to the neck while protecting the child.
2) Taking Care of Maya
Maya’s rare illness wreaks havoc on the entire Kowalski family in this gut-wrenching film about love and loss. As medical professionals try to solve the mystery surrounding Maya’s health, they begin to question if her parents are responsible. Everybody’s worlds are flipped upside down as Maya is held in state custody — exposing the evils of the child health care system. The movie is Netflix’s original movie which is set to release on June 19.
3) Black Mirror (Season 6)
After four years, Black Mirror will soon stream on Netflix in June back for more disturbing dystopian stories.
Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, and Ben Barnes headline the cast for this season. The series will release on the online streaming platform somewhere in June, no official date has been announced so far.
4) Sleeping Dog
German crime thriller series ‘Sleeping Dog’ which is based on the original series ‘The Exchange Principle’ by Noah Stollman and Oded Davidoff. This is the second collaboration between Netflix and Real Film, who previously produced the award-winning series Unorthodox. It will release on Netflix on June 22nd, 2023.
5) 65
The movie plot revolves around pilot named Mills who after a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth — 65 million years ago.
Now, with only one chance at a rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures.
