Hollywood sensation Henry Cavill is rumoured to star in the reboot of the 1986 time-traveling Scottish classic ‘Highlander’.
The Witcher actor’s upcoming movie will be directed by Chad Stalheski which is still in the works.
The director appears hopeful that the reboot starring the Superman actor might prove to be a kickstart for a major franchise.
According to Dailymail, Chad appeared in an interview with the Happy Sad podcast and said that the movie is coming, and it could do big things for the British actor.
The Highlander franchise started in 1986 and continued until the end of the 20th century and into the 21st century with a TV series starring Christopher Lambert.

The reboot of Highlander really began to get off the ground towards the end of 2022, when Stahelski revealed that his team was ‘narrowing down’ the stories their wanted to tell in the remake.
Around the same time, it became clear that Henry Cavill was the director’s first choice to play the lead role of Connor MacLeod. There is currently no target release date set for the release of the Highlander remake.
